Citroen and Peugeot join Toyota recall

PSA, the company that owns Citroen and Peugeot, is to recall more than 97,000 Citroen C1s and Peugeot 107s.
The city cars are made at the same factory as the Toyota Aygo, which is part of the massive recall announced by Toyota last week.
Toyota is recalling more that 1.8 million cars in the UK to investigate a potential problem with the accelerator sticking.
PSA said it 'has decided, in line with its stringent quality policy, to launch a similar programme for a selected range of Peugeot 107s and Citroen C1s, which are produced in cooperation with Toyota in a shared plant.'
How recall affects UK customers
The recall affects 6667 Peugeot 107s and just 36 Citroen C1s in the UK. The affected cars are petrol models fitted with ESP.
Peugeot says its writing to its customers this week.
