This is the DS3 Racing, a hot version of the company's funky supermini.
The Racing edition will go on sale in the summer for around £18,500. A thousand cars will be built, with the UK likely to get the majority.
The car is powered by a turbocharged 197bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine, with an expected 0-60mph time of less than seven seconds and a top speed of more than 130mph.
A wide range of changes have been made to the car to give it sportier handling, including stiffer springs, new shock absorbers, a wider rear track and retuned steering. The car has also been lowered by 15mm and has uprated brakes.
New body trim, chrome detailing, chequered flag decals and bright orange finishes build on the already distinctive looks of the car.
The DS3 Racing will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show at the beginning of March.
