Citroen DS4 prices revealed
The manufacturer's latest addition to its DS sub-brand is based on the C4 hatchback, but includes innovative styling that blends coupe and SUV design cues, including hidden rear door handles and a raised ride height.
Five engines will be available from launch. The three petrols – 1.6 VTi 120, THP 155 and a new THP 200 – were all co-developed with BMW, while the two diesel – 1.6 HDi 110 and 2.0 HDi 160 – both feature as system that virtually eliminates polluting particle emissions.
The DS4 will come in three trims: DSign, DStyle and DSport.
DSign is the entry-level trim and comes with six airbags, stability control, Hill Start Assist, air-con and 17-inch alloys.
DStyle gets 18-inch alloys, automatic lights and wipers, digital air-con, part-leather upholstery and front sports seats. Citroen's eTouch Emergency assistance system – a one-touch button to summon emergency services – is also included.
DSport adds heated front seats, full leather upholstery, 19-inch alloys, front parking sensors with a parking space measurement system, blind-spot monitoring and enhanced exterior detailing.
The DS4 range starts at £18,150 for the 1.6 VTi 120 manual DSign and goes up to the THP 200 DSport at £23,950. Buyers can pre-order the car now, with deliveries starting on July 4.
