City car Target Price discounts rise
Three city car models offer double-digit average Target Price savings, with the Hyundai i10 at 10.1%, the Citroën C1 line-up at 12.9%, and the Suzuki Alto on 16.7% thanks to the introduction of a Pay No VAT offer.
Ford’s Ka, claims fourth place in the Target Price discount rankings, with an average saving of 9.7%. However, customers can also receive a £750 finance deposit contribution if they buy using a low-rate APR Ford Credit finance plan.
A combination of residual niche appeal and lower-than-average dealer trading margins has helped to keep Target Price savings at 4.3% on the three main Volkswagen Group city cars, the Seat Mii, Skoda Citigo and VW Up.
The enduring success of the Fiat 500 has also kept showroom savings pegged at 4.3%, but customers can get £500 paid towards their finance deposit when buying with a low-rate APR Fiat PCP
