Congestion charge winners and losers

21 October 2010

  • The cars which win the 100% exemption…
  • …and the losers, too
  • We've got the details

The Audi A3 1.6 TD1 105 Stop Start is a winner

All cars that emit less than 100g/km of CO2 and meet Euro V emissions standards will get a 100% exemption from the London Congestion Charge.

All fully electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles that are able to run under battery power alone will also be given a 100% exemption under new regulations that come into force on January 4.

However, register a vehicle under the existing regulations by December 24 and you'll continue to receive the discount until December 2012.
