This great-looking supermini is the all-new Mazda 2, which will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show in March.
Set to go on sale in the UK towards the end of the year in three- and five-door format, the stylish new 2 is a world away from the existing model.
Expect prices to start at around £9000, and there's likely to be a similar spread of petrol and diesel power to the current line up.
Although Mazda has just launched the fast MPS version of the 3 small family car, it says there are no plans to build a hot supermini equivalent with the 2.
The current 2 doesn't sell well in the UK's important supermini market, so Mazda is expecting the new 2 to give the company a real shot in the arm.
