Citroen has just revealed the facelifted DS5 that will make its debut at the Geneva motor show before going on sale in the UK in June, but we've found a great deal on another Citroen online.
The Citroen C3 Picasso is one of our favourite budget MPVs and we've found a saving of more than £5350 on the well-equipped people carrier.
Citroen’s C3 Picasso is the best budget MPV. Rear legroom might not be class leading, but the two parts of the 60/40-split rear bench slide and fold independently. The 500-litre boot with the rear seats in their forward position rivals some estate cars.
The C3 is comfortable to sit in and rides well thanks to supple suspension. VTR+ trim has plenty of kit, including six airbags, cruise control, alloy wheels and Bluetooth.
This engine can feel weedy on faster roads if you do most of your miles on the motorway, look at the 1.6 petrol or diesel instead.
Soft suspension means it can bob up and down over undulating roads, and it isn’t as good to drive as a Ford B-Max.
Should I add any options?
VTR+ trim is well equipped, but you should definitely add the electronic stability control and cornering lights pack for £370. More powerful engines get it as standard, but not the 1.4 VTi.
The Automatic Pack might also tempt you. It adds automatic lights and wipers, a leather steering wheel, climate control and an auto-dimming rear view mirror for £465. You can add a DAB digital radio as a dealer accessory, but not as a factory-fit option.
