We scour the internet broker sites to bring you big discounts on new cars every week. The brokers work with UK main dealers to offer these savings on the latest models.
Peugeot’s RCZ R has the pace to match the fastest hot hatches, and stays remarkably flat through corners. The standard limited-slip differential works brilliantly, so you can carry huge speed through bends without the car deviating from your chosen line.
The ride is stiff, but not uncomfortable, and actually feels more supple than the standard car's. There’s a decent-sized boot with a wide opening, and the rear seats fold flat.
It’s not as involving as the best rivals, because the steering feels vague and numb when you’re really pressing on. The pedals could do with more feel and the gearshift is rather notchy.
You get the same tiny rear seats as in the standard RCZ, which are really only suitable for kids in emergencies, and are best reserved for shopping or luggage.
Should I add any options?
The RCZ R comes with everything you could want; Bluetooth, sat-nav, climate control, rear parking sensors, automatic wipers and xenon headlights are all standard. In fact, just about the only options you can add are an upgraded sound system and front parking sensors - and you don’t need either.
That said, it comes in white as standard, so you’ll need to spend £520 more if you want it in metallic red, grey or black. Avoid the pricey carbonfibre roof - it isn’t worth £1360.
The discounted price above is the maximum you’ll pay for this car through Autoebid.com, including fees, delivery and VED. Once you’ve placed an order, the broker’s suppliers will compete for your business, so you could end up saving even more.
