Car dealer Inchcape has sold its five UK Vauxhall dealers in a £14.3 million deal.

Inchcape has also recently sold its UK-based Bentley, Ferrari and Maserati dealers, after a review of its UK business.

The group will now focus its operations on Audi, BMW, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota/Lexus and Volkswagen.

The five Vauxhall dealers have been sold to a new dealer group, Eden (GM) Limited.

The dealerships are in Reading, Newbury, Fareham, Honiton and Exeter, and will operate under the Eden Vauxhall name.

The rights of buyers of cars from these dealerships will be unaffected.
