The Detroit motor show opens this weekend – and Whatcar.com will be there to bring you all the latest news and videos.
The show traditionally kick-starts the year, with manufacturers using it to promote the biggest launches for the year ahead.
Despite the economic slowdown, this year is no different - with more than 50 launches taking place.
Highlights among include the BMW Z4, Chevrolet Beat, Honda Insight, Jaguar XFR and XKR, Mercedes , Mini Convertible and Toyota Prius.
There are also some exciting concept cars, which hint at how future models will look. These include the Audi A7, Kia Soulster, Subaru Legacy and Volvo S80.
