What's on show?Audi and Mercedes have both got some all-new cars or fresh concepts on their stand.
However, BMW only has the updated
Z4 roadster and the Z4 Coupe which were on the stands
at the Frankfurt Show last year.
It had been suggested that the concept wasn't ready for Frankfurt, and hadn't been polished, which is why it has the unusual matte finish.
The buffers haven't been shining up the concept since then, so the rumours were either untrue or BMW has subsequently found that there could be a market for the look.
The overhaul of the Z4 roadster range sees the addition of a 338bhp M version of the car.
Save around £38,000 and you should be able to buy one when it goes on sale in the spring
We say? The Z4 Roadster that the Coupe is based on is already a tasty car to begin with. However, the addition of a steel roof and extra stiffness should make the newcomer even more fun to drive.
We can't wait for it to leave the show stand so we can try it out against a Porsche Cayman.
