911 Turbo cabrio EMBARGO 7 May 2007

Porsche will launch a soft-top version of its 911 Turbo sportscar this September with a price of £106,180.

The drop-top 911 Turbo has the same 3.6-litre six-cylinder engine that's in the coupe and can accelerate from 0-62mph in four seconds when fitted with the standard six-speed manual gearbox. Opt for the tiptronic gearbox and it can rattle off the 0-62mph dash in 3.8 seconds. Like the coupe, the 911 Turbo Cabriolet has a top speed of 193mph. All this despite being 70kgs heavier than the Coupe.

Final vital stat? The automatic soft-top roof can open or close in 20 seconds.

As you would expect in a £100k car, there's plenty of standard kit, including leather upholstery, colour sat-nav, Bose sound system, Porsche's Vehicle Tracking System and a Porsche Driving Experience programme.

There's still plenty to tempt you on the options list, however, including a £5800 carbon-ceramic brake system that's available in the Coupe and a £1015 Sport Chrono Turbo Package that ups the car's pulling power to 502lb ft on overboost.
