Eight million drivers face licence fine

Nearly eight million motorists are risking a £1000 fine because the address on their driving licence is inaccurate.
Figures released in a Parliamentary written reply by Road Safety Minister, Jim Fitzpatrick, revealed that almost one in five drivers have failed to keep their details up to date.
When people change their address, they are required by law to notify the DVLA.
However, according to Fitzpatrick, 7.9 million motorists have failed to do so and are risking a fine of up to £1000.
