These computer-generated images show how Vauxhall's upcoming Corsa-based 4x4 could look.
The mini 4x4 will take on rivals such as Suzuki's SX4 and the Daihatsu Terios.
It is likely to be powered by 1.3-litre and 1.7-litre diesel engines currently in the Corsa range.
Features include raised suspension and plastic cladding and a metal skid plate, to protect against any potential damage if the car is taken off-road.
The car, which is not expected to be called a Corsa, is expected to go on sale at the end of 2009.
Our reviews are based on hard data and thorough testing in the real world.
