Toyota's Verso MPV has been given a mild face-lift, as well as a new trim called SR.
The changes to the Verso are largely cosmetic, with a new grille, bolder front bumper and revisions to the headlights and rear lamps.
There are other changes to the range, too. T2 models have a revised sound system, T3 models now have dual-zone climate control as standard and a new interior trim, and T Spirit versions also have a new interior and new alloy wheel designs. Top-of-the-range T180 models get new smoked headlights and rear lamps.
Toyota says the new SR cars represent a £950 saving over equivalent T3 models, because of their higher specification. Standard features include rear privacy glass, a rear roof spoiler, parking sensors and 16-inch alloy wheels.
These items are in addition to equipment found in T3 models, such as dual-zone climate control, cruise control, electric heated door mirrors, trip computer, front seat arm rests and front foglights.
SR cars also have twin front and side airbags, curtain airbags and a driver's knee airbags, as well as stability control, traction control and brake assist.
Cars in SR trim are available with a 127bhp 1.8-litre petrol engine or a 134bhp 2.2-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine is available with an optional MultiMode semi-automatic gearbox.
The new Verso is on sale now.
