A face-lifted Toyota Avensis has been revealed at the Madrid Motor Show today and will go on sale in the UK this July.
The makeover includes some styling tweaks inside and out, and a pair of new engines.
A powerful 175bhp turbodiesel is the first, but will only be available in a range-topping T180 model. Another 130bhp diesel replaces the last 2.0-litre and Toyota says it has improved fuel consumption and lower emissions.
Figures haven't been released yet, but come back to whatcar.com on June 12 for more information.
Toyota also claims that the family car is better to drive and has an improved ride, thanks to changes to the suspension and steering systems.
Prices are likely to be broadly similar to today's spread of £14,900-£20,895 for the saloon and hatchback, and £17,400-£21,895 for the estate.
