Peugeot has unveiled its face-lifted 107 at the Bologna motor show.
The car on display is powered by a 54bhp 1.4-litre diesel engine that averages 69mpg and emits 109g/km of carbon dioxide, Peugeot has badged it Blue Lion to signify its environmental credentials.
The diesel engine's mpg figure is better than that achieved by the 1.0-litre petrol engine, which is also in the eco range, and emissions of 106gkm are only slightly higher.
Changes to the 107 include a restyled front end, an upgraded interior and a range of more-efficient engines.
Full details and prices of the revised 107 range will be revealed closer to the car's on-sale date early in 2009.
