Ferrari winners redesign the Myth

The future face of Ferrari could be shaped by the winners of the company's worldwide design competition.
Twenty teams of car design students from around the globe entered the 'New Concepts of the Myth' competition, with the four winning teams announced today.
A team from Coventry University's School of Art and Design was picked for their Ferrari Fiorano vehicle. Rob Battams, Tom Hardman and David Imai make up the successful group.
The F Zero entry from another team at Coventry captured the hearts of the public in an online poll, in which tens of thousands of people voted, but wasn't picked as one of the winners.
The Millechilli and Ascari cars, both by teams from the Turin-based Istituto Europeo di Design, and the Tokyo Communication Arts school's entry, called Tre Diviso, make up the other three winners.
Judges in the competition play a key role in deciding the look of Ferraris, so the winners could well see their vision for the brand filtering through to future production models.
Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo, his deputy, Piero Ferrari, legendary designer Sergio Pininfarina, and new Ferrari design chief Donato Coco were among the judges.
