Fiat is adding £500 to the cost of all but its most basic Bravo models from October.
The announcement follows what the company describes as 'a repositioning of the Bravo in the market'.
While the entry-level 1.4-litre model will remain at £10,995, all other models will be affected by the price rise.
Fiat is also adding a new engine to the Bravo range - a 120bhp version of its 1.4-litre T-Jet unit.
Cars with the new engine emit 158g/km of carbon dioxide and will be available in three trims - Active, Active Sport and Dynamic - starting from £12,895.
