Fiat Linea

This Fiat Linea saloon, unveiled at the Turkish motor show today, shows what the front of next year's Bravo hatchback could look like.

The Bravo has been quickly pushed through development to replace the slow-selling Stilo.

It's expected to make its debut at the Geneva motor show next spring.

Judging by the dimensions of the Linea, which is midway between a Ford Focus and Ford Mondeo in size, the Bravo could be the biggest small family car around. From tip to tail the Linea is 4.56m long, 1.73m wide and has a big 500-litre boot.

There's no word yet from Fiat on whether the saloon will make it to the UK as well as the hatchback version, but considering the tiny market for compact saloons in this country we'd be surprised.
