Fiat's new Sedici 4x4 supermini goes on sale on April 22, with prices starting at £12,495.
This is £2500 more than the Suzuki SX4, which is the Suzuki version of the jointly-produced car, but Fiat's version comes with a four-wheel-drive system instead of its sibling's front-wheel-drive layout.
Initially, only the 107bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine used in the Suzuki will be available, but a 120bhp 1.9-litre diesel engine will arrive in the summer.
Entry-level Dynamic trim includes front and side airbags, air-conditioning, remote central locking, front electric windows, electric door mirrors and a CD stereo.
Eleganza versions are £1000 more at £13,495 and also feature climate control, 16-inch alloy wheels, electric rear windows and steering-wheel mounted stereo controls.
Suzuki says four-wheel drive and diesel versions of its SX4 will arrive later this year.
