Here is the first image of the Volvo S60 concept car that will be revealed in full at the Detroit motor show in January.
The picture gives the first indications of what the all-new Volvo S60 will look like when it is launched in 2010.
'We both can, and dare, to deliver more exciting and more dynamic designs while maintaining our lead position in safety. The concept car shows part of our future,' said Stephen Odell, president and CEO at Volvo Cars.
The new S60 will take on premium rivals such as the Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series. The new car shares clear similarities with the new XC60, in areas such as the grille and angled headlights.
The inside of the car has a floating centre stack made from crystal. The stack is said to be shaped like a transparent wave travelling from the instrument panel all the way to the rear seat backrest.
Our reviews are based on hard data and thorough testing in the real world.
