Renault will give the first clues to how its Renault Laguna Coupe will look at this week's Frankfurt motor show.

Renault will reveal a Laguna Coupe concept at the Frankfurt motor show, and insiders say the production version of the car, which is due to go on sale in the latter half of 2008, will closely resemble the concept car.

The interior of the car is likely to be borrowed directly from the new hatchback and estate.

Engines should include a 309bhp 3.5-litre V6 petrol, a new 240bhp 3.0-litre diesel, as well as a 168bhp 2.0 petrol and 148bhp 2.0 diesel.

Each will come with a choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmissions.

Prices should begin at about £20,000.
