Renault has released the first teaser images of the all-new Laguna family car.

The Ford Mondeo rival will be unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show in September and go on sale in the UK in mid-October for around £15,000.

Both hatchback and estate versions are likely to appear at Frankfurt, while a coupe version of the car is expected at the Geneva motor show next March.

Renault's earlier Fluence and Altica concept cars give a good idea of how the front end of the hatch and estate will look, but are much more like the coupe overall.
