The five-seat version of Citroen's C4 Picasso is now on sale from £14,495 - £500 less than the seven-seat Grand version, which won the What Car? MPV of the Year award recently.
Citroen hasn't just taken the rear pair of seats out of the Grand C4 Picasso for the newcomer, though - the rear end of the car has been completely restyled. The car still has the large windscreen up front, however, and the same seating flexibility in the first two rows of seating.
Although boot space is generous, don't expect more luggage room. Compared with the Grand C4 Picasso in five-seater layout, there's 67 litres less space at 605 litres. Fold the second row down and the five-seater car offers 1734 litres of space compared with the seven-seater's 1951 litres of room.
Equipment levels match those of the Grand C4 Picasso, so entry-level LX models come with electric windows, cruise control and seven airbags. However, a CD player and air-conditioning are only found on SX trim and above.
Our reviews are based on hard data and thorough testing in the real world.
