Ford aftersales available for all owners

Ford has announced a new package of aftersales offers – called BlueService – that is designed to draw more owners into their local Ford dealer.

The offers apply to owners of any Ford of any age regardless of its mileage. They include a free electronic vehicle 'health check', online service booking, UK and European roadside assistance and an accident claim-management package.

Free UK and European roadside assistance will be available to any Ford owner who has their car serviced at a Ford authorised repairer. The assistance package is run in partnership with the AA and includes a courtesy car, even when driving abroad. The UK and European cover lasts until the next scheduled service, at which point it is renewed if the customer uses a Ford authorised repairer again.

Ford's new 24-hour One Call helpline is pitched as a single point for all customer enquiries, capable of handling roadside assistance callouts, technical queries and product information requests.

The helpline will also handle calls following an accident – its advisers will manage the whole insurance-claim process, including repairing the car at a Ford Accident Repair Centre and providing a courtesy car while the work takes place. The accident-management service – as well as the other helpline services – is available to any Ford owner, regardless of whether they have ever had their car serviced at a Ford dealer.

Ford has also launched an online MoT test and service booking system at www.ford.co.uk/OSB.
