Ford has confirmed it will launch a high-performance RS version of its Focus in 2009.
This teaser image shows how the car, which has been under development for several months and is based on the Focus ST, will look.
Ford isn't releasing any other technical details, although the RS is almost certain to have more than 300bhp and may have four-wheel drive to increase traction.
The company has also said it will display a concept car midway through 2008, most probably at the London motor show at Excel.
