The iconic Ford Mustang is coming to Europe - and the long-awaited introduction will also include a right-hand-drive version for the UK market.
The legendary sports car has been a popular grey import choice for many years, but Ford has now committed to introducing it in Europe as part of the company's 'One Ford' global product strategy.
No date has been announced, but it's thought it will coincide with the introduction of the next-generation Mustang in late 2014 or early 2015.
Ford sources have declined to comment on the likely configuration, although it is hard to imagine a Mustang range being offered without a V8 option.
Other engine options could include a turbocharged V6 and, as an outside bet, a turbocharged four-cylinder unit.
