What's the star of the stand?
This is the first chance for you to get your hands on the new Cayman coupe.

Using the new Boxster's fantastic chassis, the Cayman is off to a good start. Factor in added rigidity from the roof, and you're left with what must be the company's best-handling model ever made.

From launch this November, you've just one model to choose from – the 295bhp Cayman S – but lesser powered versions are surely already in the pipeline.

So what more do you need to know?

0-62mph? 5.4sec.

Top speed? 171mph.

Price? £43,930.

They say
'Porsche hasn't really done an awful lot of boasting about the car – it's letting the Cayman's ability speak for itself.'

We say
Fair enough.

Anything else?
Well, there's a sprinkling of Carrera 4 all-wheel-drive versions of various 911.

Any gossip?
The Cayman was recently captured by spy photographers embarrassing the 911 – in the manufacturer's own tests – around the Nurburgring circuit in Germany.
