What's the star of the stand?
A face-lifted 9-5. It won't exactly set the motoring world on fire, but the 9-5 has been made-over, with sporty sweptback headlamps and grille being the most obvious modifications.

The cabin has been freshened up and the chassis tweaked, while under the bonnet you will find a new 150bhp 1.9 diesel engine, a 'Biopower' engine (which can run on a mixture of bioethanol and petrol) and a more powerful engine for the Aero 2.3 HOT model.

They say
The sportier visual impact of the new 9-5 Saloon and Estate is designed to reflect the enhancements under the bodywork, giving Saab's flagship range an even stronger appeal for customers who value modern, progressive design and a rewarding driving experience.

We say
The face-lifted 9-5 has a more aggressive nose with lots of chrome detailing around the grille – it's quite 'look-at-me' by Saab standards. A bioethanol option will also be offered – initially to the Swedish market.
