The Chrysler Voyager is (soon to be) dead – long live the
Grand Voyager!
While the Voyager is being replaced by brand stablemate Dodge's Journey MPV next year, Chrysler is launching the revamped Grand Voyager in Europe from early 2008.
The interior and exterior have been redesigned, with features among the 30 redesigned areas including heated seats in the first and second rows.
The seven-seater will continue to feature sliding rear side doors and Chrysler's innovative 'Stow 'n Go' seating system, which allows the second and third rows of seats to be electronically folded flat within 30 seconds.
Options include an electrically operated rear tailgate, a reverse parking camera and 'Swivel 'n Go' seating, which enables occupants to swivel the second row of seats by 180 degrees and sit facing the third row of seats, with a table in between them.
The car is powered by the 160bhp 2.8-litre diesel engine also found in the
Jeep Wrangler or a 3.8-litre V6 petrol engine.
There will be three trim levels: LX, Touring and Limited. Prices will be released closer to the car's launch date.
