Frankfurt motor show 2011 - Eterniti Hemera

New British car company Eterniti has unveiled its Hemera prototype at the Frankfurt show.
The Hemera is based on the Porsche Cayenne, but Eterniti says it will be completely made over, with a bespoke interior and an uprated 414bhp 4.8-litre twin-turbo engine to create what it calls the world's first super SUV.
The limousine-like interior includes reclining rear seats, twin iPads with wireless keyboards and a drinks chiller.
The engineering team is led by Alastair Macqueen, who was responsible for the development of the Jaguar XJ220 supercar. Ex-Formula 1 driver Johnny Herbert is a brand 'ambassador' for Eterniti.
Production of the car will start at its London base early next year, with deliveries starting in the summer. Prices have yet to be confirmed, but we expect them to be north of £150,000.
The car is clearly aimed at the Far East market, and the company hopes to open showrooms in Japan and Taiwan by the end of the year and have a hub based in Hong Kong.
