Mazda has a launched a new crash repair management service that aims to minimise hassle for motorists following a collision.
The European-wide Mazda Accident Management service is contacted through the same freephone number currently used for Mazda roadside assistance.
The service coordinates recovery to an approved repairer, provides immediate alternative transport for at least 48 hours and contacts insurers to have payment signed off.
It is immediately available to the 150,000 motorists still covered by the three-year roadside assistance package that comes with new Mazdas. Approved-used Mazdas have a year's cover from the date of sale, and Mazda owners can register their car for the service for a fee of £98.
