Nissan is to offer customers who have bought a Juke, Qashqai or Qashqai +2 a free loan car if they face a wait of more than three months for their new car.
Customers who order a Juke will be offered the use of a Micra, while Qashqai and Qashqai+2 buyers will be offered a Note.
Nissan says lead times for the new Juke and Qashqai are between three and six months, with versions fitted with a CVT gearbox being in particularly short supply.
Customers who have already placed an order will also be eligible to request a loan car through the supplying dealer, providing the remaining waiting time exceeds three months. The first customers will receive loan cars on February 24.
