Fuel contamination riddle continues - …and so does the supermarkets' supplier

Greenergy, which supplies fuel to Tesco and Morrisons, said: 'Over the past three years, we have sold more than eight billion litres of fuel into the UK market and have not had any problems.

'So far, we have conducted extensive tests on the fuel supplied to Tesco and Morrisons. We have found it is fully compliant with BSEN 228 - the independent standard everyone works to. We are continuing our investigation and will update you as soon as we have more information.'
