Our car broke down five miles after filling up at a Tesco in Wolverton, Milton Keynes. The tests at our BMW garage have shown we need to replace the ignition coil pack on number four cylinder.
James GeorgeOn December 18, 2006, the light on my dashboard went on and I had to take the car to Honda to diagnose the problem. This cost me £50. The problem was the oxygen sensor.
I had noticed the exhaust smelt odd for a while. The cost to replace the sensor was £127, so all in all, this cost me £177.
In light of the recent news (I live in north London and use Tesco petrol), I felt it would be worth reporting this.
Chris GoochI filled my vehicle with fuel at Tesco in Banbury on Saturday afternoon and my vehicle has not run properly since.
My fuel tank was nearly empty, so after shopping, we went to the fuel station to fill up.
After filling up and driving away, I noticed an immediate difference - the vehicle was not smooth at all.
Chris JoyI filled up at my local Tesco 10 days ago. It was Faggs Road Tesco near Hatton Cross/Heathrow Airport.
I do very little mileage in my Vauxhall Corsa 1.2, so it has maybe taken me longer to notice it, but in the past few days my car has started shuddering and jerking and then losing power.
Today I booked it into my Vauxhall main dealer, where it has always been serviced and it can't fix it until next week, as it has run out of parts. It currently has 13 cars booked in this week with the same problem.
