The Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabriolet will be revealed at the Geneva motor show, ahead of its on-sale date in the autumn.
The GTI Cabriolet gets sporty makeover similar to that of the Golf GTI hatchback. It includes a red-edged honeycomb grille, a rear diffuser, chrome tailpipes and 17-inch Monza alloys.

Trims will be revealed in the summer, but the Interlagos cloth interior on the show car suggests the Cabriolet could offer a fabric seating option, compared with the all-leather upholstery in the hatchback.
Interior features include stainless steel pedals, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and handbrake, along with chrome and aluminium detailing.
VW last sold a Golf GTI Cabriolet in the UK in 1993. Final pricing for the new model is expected to be confirmed in July, but we'd expect it to start from around £29,300. First deliveries are expected in September.
