Geneva motor show 2009 - Ford Ranger

03 March 2009
Dealerships won't be quivering with excitement at the prospect of a massive influx of customers, but it's worth noting that the Ford Ranger has been face-lifted and will go on sale in the UK in late 2009.

The pick-up truck is designed in Australia and built in Thailand, with tweaks including larger headlamps, a new design of rear lights and bigger door mirrors, to aid visibility.

Buyers can opt for two- or four-wheel-drive models. Two engines are available: 2.5- and 3.0-litre diesels, linked to five-speed manual or automatic gearboxes.

Climate control and an MP3 compatible audio are fitted as standard.

The Ranger is available in three body styles: Regular Cab, Super Cab and Double Cab.
