Geneva motor show 2009 - Seat Leon and Altea facelifts

03 March 2009
Seat is also exhibiting its revised Leon and Altea range.

The most significant changes can be found under the cars' skin, with higher-spec models getting a new traction control system called XDS.

Two new engines will also be added to the range: a 208bhp petrol and a 168bhp turbodiesel.

DSG-equipped Seat Leon and Altea models will get gearshift paddles on the steering wheel for the first time.

The exterior face-lift is subtle, with both cars featuring a new grille and headlights, revised doors, and a larger rear screen for improved visibility.

Inside, there are modifications to the instrument panel and centre console.

Prices and full specifications will be confirmed closer to when the models hit the showrooms this summer.
