We’ll have to wait until December for one of the other stars of the Jeep stand. That’s when the new
Grand Cherokee will go on sale with a new 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel engine.
It has 10% more power and 8% more torque than the engine it replaces, yet – with average economy of 34.0mpg and CO2 emissions of 218g/km – it’s 17% more efficient.
This new engine will be sold alongside two petrol engines, a 3.6-litre V6 and a 5.7-litre V8, with the range including a choice of Laredo, Limited and Overland trims.
