Geneva motor show 2011 - Toyota Prius+

28 February 2011
Toyota has revealed the Prius+, a seven-seat hybrid MPV set to go on sale next year.

The MPV has three independent, split-folding seats in the second row and a 50:50 split-folding third row.

While Toyota hasn't released any performance or fuel consumption figures, it says the Prius+ will have 'the lowest fuel consumption of any seven-seater on the market'.

It is fitted with Toyota's latest Hybrid Synergy Drive systems but uses lithium-ion batteries - the current Prius uses nikel metal hydride.
