Geneva motor show - Citroen

06 March 2007
What’s new at Citroen
The new Citroen C-Crosser and the five seat Citroen C4 Picasso are the latest additions from the French manufacturer.

Citroen goes off-road
The C-Crosser is based on the platform used by the Mitsubishi Outlander and follows the current trend of 'mix-n-match' car design. You get normal saloon car characteristics while enjoying the benefits of four-wheel drive: a high driving position and off-road abilities.

Vital statistics
It's a four-wheel-drive model which can be used as a two-wheel drive car. It has five seats and another two fold down in the back. It is powered by Citroen's own 2.2-litre 156bhp diesel engine and is expected to go on sale in the summer at what Citroen describes as competitive prices.

C4 Picasso - five seats good
You might just be expecting a shortened C4 Picasso, but the body on the five-seater is quite different from its larger counterpart. From the B-pillar backwards, the body panels have all been changed and the car is rounded off with a distinctively styled tailgate.

It comes in 110bhp 1.6 and 138bhp 2.0 diesel versions, and 1.8 125bhp and 2.0 138bhp petrol engines. It goes on sale March 12, with prices starting at £14,495.
