Motorshow etiquette
There are a few motor show stands that you always have to drop by, even if there's nothing new on display.

Normally, Ferrari is one of them, but at this year's Geneva show, there's more of an excuse than ever to pay a visit, because there's an all-new model to ogle.

The 599 GTB is the replacement for the 575M Maranello, and it goes on sale in the UK this summer.

It uses the most powerful V12 Ferrari has ever produced, the 620bhp 6.0-litre used in the 612 and derived from the Enzo supercar. It also has a lightweight aluminium chassis and body.

If you need to ask the price…
The cliche is probably true, we're afraid. Expect to part with at least £160,000 for one of these, and then wait a couple of years for it to turn up.

If you want to jump the queue and grab one of the first UK cars to arrive (all of which have long been ordered), you could easily add £20,000 or £30,000 to the asking price.
