What's the star of the stand?
The all-new Sante Fe which goes on sale in the UK this April.

It's bigger than ever before, which means Hyundai will be offering it with the option of seven seats for the first time.

As well as extra size and seats, there's also more power – its 186bhp 2.7-litre V6 petrol develops 16bhp more than the old car, and the diesel has a whopping 40bhp more at 151bhp.

There's permanent four-wheel drive and a long list of standard equipment, including six airbags, climate control, alloy wheels, CD player, electric windows, remote central locking and automatic headlights and wipers.

Anything else?
Yup. Try this Genus out for size. The Ford Mondeo-sized concept car aims to mix the style of a coupe with the practicality of an estate car.

Hyundai says…
…the Genus has styling 'inspired by the natural forms of waves and sand dunes. It previews the type of vehicle Hyundai believes will respond to the developing customer tastes and expectations in the upper medium D-segment.'

The family car market is a tough old place, so if Hyundai is able to offer something a little different (sand dunes aside) it could be on to a winner.
