Meet the new 207 at GenevaPeugeot takes the covers off its new 207 at the Swiss show.
On sale in both three and five-door form in the UK this June, the 207 will be sold alongside the 206, its smaller predecessor, for a while.
There are six engines available from the car's launch: three petrol engines and three diesels. The cheapest petrol and diesel motors offer 75bhp and 70bhp respectively, while outputs of 90bhp and 110bhp are provided for both fuels further up the range.
What about a 207 GTi? Almost certainly – and it might take a few styling cues from this 207 RCup that's also on show at Geneva.
Don't expect the 280bhp in the racecar 207 to work its way under the bonnet of the GTi, however. The GTi is likely to get a 170bhp from a newly-developed 1.6-litre petrol that will also be sold in 115bhp and 150bhp outputs.
And convertibles and estates? Yes – the new
207 CC is highly likely to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show, but you might have to wait until 2007 to get a look at the SW estate.
