Almost half of mothers have been sworn at, abused or threatened with violence while driving their children to school, according to a new survey by Honda.
Of the 1150 mums questioned, the survey found that 27% have had rude hand gestures made at them, and 19% have been sworn at by other drivers. Another 2% said they have been threatened with violence.
The report claims other drivers believe the mums drive uneconomical cars and clog the roads. However, the study found mums to be environmentally aware with 77% driving two or more children to school.
