Innocent drivers across the UK face repair bills of £1.25 billion a year from hit-and-run scrapes, according to new research.
The study, by accident management company Accident Exchange, reveals that there are 700,000 Parked Car Incidents (PCIs) each year. The average cost of repair is £1800.
London topped the 25 worst cities in Britain for PCIs, followed by Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and Norwich.
