Honda has introduced a sportier version of its Accord family car.
The Accord Sport GT goes on sale on September 1, and will cost from £20,767. For your money, you'll get dark chrome door handles and front grille, 17-inch dark graphite alloy wheels (16-inch wheels on estate versions) and the option of White Pearl paint, which is exclusive to the Sport GT.
The car also has sports suspension, a rear boot spoiler, smoked headlights, and foglights. Inside, there are red-illuminated dials and a carbon-effect dash and centre console.
Other goodies include voice-activated satellite-navigation, a 6-CD autochanger, cruise control and a Bluetooth hands-free telephone system. Estate versions have privacy glass at the rear, too.
• Honda has also introduced its 2.2-litre diesel engine to its entry-level SE trim. The Accord 2.2 i-CTDi SE saloon (there's no estate version) costs £18,600 and comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, stability control, a six-speed gearbox and Bluetooth hands-free telephone system as standard.
