Sportier-looking Audi TTs are on the way - as well as even hotter versions producing as much as 350bhp.
The S line images here are from Audi, but the blue RS range-topper you can see in the gallery is computer-generated.
There aren't too many details on the hot RS version just yet, but it's tipped to make its first appearance by the end of the year.
Debate rages on what engine might be under the bonnet, too. The front-runner at the moment is said to be a twin-turbocharged version of the familiar 2.0-litre FSI, but other sources have also pointed towards a five-cylinder 2.5-litre - basically half of a Lamborghini Gallardo engine.
With outputs of up to 350bhp, the RS is sure to be Quattro four-wheel drive only, with a choice of a six-speed manual gearbox or S-tronic automatic (formally known as DSG).
The S line is a package of styling features including large 19-inch alloy wheels, bigger front air intakes and metallic detailing. The wheels will be available from November, as a £1650 upgrade on the 2.0-litre and £750 on the 3.2, while the rest of the features should be available as a package by the end of the year.
