Fancy saving thousands on your new car? Then buying a pre-registered model might be the answer.
Saab City (www.saabcity.co.uk) has some cracking deals on pre-registered old-shape 9-3 models - £8440 off a new Aero Convertible, for example.
It has over 150 cars for sale, and even bigger discounts are available this weekend.
There are plenty of saloons and estates available, as well as convertibles, and most have just been registered, so are on the latest 57-plate.
Uknewcars.com has some great deals, too. You can pick up the hot Ford Focus ST for as little as £13,744, saving yourself at least £4251.
Or how about a Panda 100HP for £7957? That's a saving of 22%. There are great deals to be had on new Mondeos, too.
Most pre-registered cars are effectively brand new, with only delivery miles on the clock.
Just insist that the seller gives you the V5C registration document - sometimes they keep it for a few months, which is common practice - but illegal. If they don't hand it over, walk away.
Otherwise, there's very little to worry about.
